I'm back...there's no place like home

Ecuador was an unforgettable experience. From the altitude sickness to the amazing reaction of Promissa's new fans, it was a trip to remember. We got the opportunity to bring our music to secular radio as well as TV shows. We sang in front of nuns, Jehovah witnesses, people with no religious preferences and God knows who else. We offered our music, our lyrics, our God given talent and they embraced all of it...it was awesome.

When we released our CD last year, we never imagined that our music would reach people in the jungle called El Coca. There are people in the jungle who will be touched, whose lives God will change through our music. I'm so pumped about that, because that is not a place were normally a singer would want to go. In the contrary, it was challenging to be there and keep an "everything is going to be OK attitude", however, to hear the most important lady of El Coca say to us that our music had made her realize that she needed to stop hating and start trusting God, to see nuns clapping to our songs with a huge smile on their faces, to be able to encourage young kids to dream big and work hard in spite of their circumstances, made it all worth it.

I ate Locro de papas (a Delicious Ecuadorian soup), played with monkeys (hard to believe, but true), held a parrot (no lie), got sick and ended up at the hospital (not fun), took more pictures with fans and signed more autographs than ever before and met some great people in the music industry. As intense as it was, it was a great blessing to all of us. We're more than grateful to God for allowing us to, once again, see His grace and favor at work.
To all of you that did, thanks for keeping us in your prayers during this journey. I'm glad to be back...there's no place like home!
I'll be posting some pictures soon...
